Born in Athens, Petros Anagnostopoulos graduated from Arsakeio School of Psychiko and studied Medicine at the Medical Department of the Hellenic Military Academy of Corps Officers (SSAS) and at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

After obtaining his medical degree and being commissioned as an Ensign in the Hellenic Navy (HN), he was assigned to the Naval Hospital of Athens (NNA), where he completed clinical rotations in all surgical and medical specialties. He then trained as a Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine Physician and, at the same time, obtained certifications as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) provider.

As a Navy Officer, he served on warships and in the Underwater Demolition Command (UDC), earning the certifications of Lifeguard, Diver, and Paratrooper of the Hellenic Armed Forces (AF). He actively participated in the social contribution initiatives of the Armed Forces, serving in Reception and Identification Centers (R.I.C.) and at the “PROMETHEUS” Vaccination Center during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He subsequently trained in General Surgery at the Naval Hospital of Athens and completed his specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens “KAT.” During his residency, he also received training in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery, as well as in Pediatric Surgery, while continuing his clinical fellowship at IASO Private Hospital under Plastic Surgeon Andreas Foustanos.

Today he is in charge of the Plastic Surgery Department at DERMA DENTAL CARE.
